Meet Our Founder

Sage Insight Nurse Consultants was initiated by Jamie Ray, RN, MSN, CLNC, Retired NP. She started her career in pre-hospital Emergency Medicine in 1984 and completed paramedic school before entering the nursing field in 1988.

Mrs. Ray brings 20 years of experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, in addition to more than 10 years of RN experience.

Her diverse and multilevel experiences enable her to provide attorneys with a unique insight into the most complex cases from both Medical/Surgical and Nursing perspectives.

“Becoming a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC®) is a natural progression of my extensive career as I have been reviewing patient charts and analyzing care for decades, as well as writing report summaries (Nursing notes, Admission H & Ps, Procedure notes, Discharge Summaries, Chronological Health Summaries documentation). I am very analytical and detail-oriented, self-motivating, and an excellent communicator- both written and verbal. These are all qualities of high value in the CLNC® world. I am excited to combine my wealth of experiences and knowledge into this business, while continuing my passion of helping others.”
